KLH were one of the Massachusetts greats. Founded in 1957 Cambridge, Massachusetts by Henry Kloss & associates. KLH had over 500 employees in 1964 when it sold to Singer Corporation. Things changed fairly rapidly from there.
More ownership changes followed – the brand is now operating in Indiana USA after being acquired by a former Klipsch & Voxx executive. (info from KLH Audio website)
After listening to these speakers in our office for a spell we really came to appreciate their sound quality at low volume levels – something that many speakers struggle with. All can go loud, but it’s the detail that really counts & these have detail in spades. Having said that – they are still mid-market – I don’t want to talk them up too much…. But we’re quite impressed.
