Lovely shade of real sapele mahogany – solid frame & veneered top. Refinished & rejointed – looking great
For the finish on this – we’ve done our usual tabletop finishing approach – 3 coats of our own wipe on polyurethane recipe in gloss. Then 2 coats of spray on super durable satin poly we source from the USA – the gloss base highlights the beautiful reds & golds of the sapele, then the satin spray layers give it a perfect flat & very durable surface.
NB. one small honest veneer repair done to one of the corner edges – see last close up pic. The repair has been done with veneer, not filler.
