Funky ‘genie’ table lamp. Tall teak & cork base with original shade in orange.
Very cool lamp – octagonal with great detail.
Rewired & ready for another stunning lifetime.
Made in New Zealand (?) – Circa 1965
Lamp in great shape. Nice pieces of hardwood, even better ‘slab’ of cork.
Rewired with new switched bayonet & plug (HPM brand).
Shade is original 1960s shade – Has just the one spot to report – water mark on top of shade – approx. 3cm long – see close up pics. The fabric grain disguises it a little, but it’s there. The inner has discoloured over time but is still intact & strong.
Independently ‘Tested & Tagged’ for electrical safety.
