Mid Century Triangular shaped Ikebana vase – Deep earthy greens & black
Striking shape & texture like many mid century Japanese pieces, but this one is a bit dark..

Great condition – there is one very small 2mm diameter scuff on the extreme edge of a triangle – looks like it may have rubbed against a wall? See last pic for a close up of this.

Ikebana refers to a traditional flower arrangement method done with strict rules. In its highest form, this art form is considered spiritual and philosophical in nature, but in modern Japan, it is more often practiced as a sign of refinement.
