Superb Swiss engineering. Solid & strong. The L78 has a huge reputation in audiophile circles.
Variable speeds from 78-16 RPM. Presets for 78. 45, 33, & 16.
Lovely sound with new AT cartridge – full, warm analogue reproduction.
Fully serviced & lubed. Replacement tonearm suspension ‘V-Blocks’ fitted. New AT 95E cart & stylus.
Motor perfect – very silent & doesn’t miss a beat.
Some minor marks on chassis. Wooden plinth restored & re-finished – Perspex lid is the original Lenco & in great shape. There’s the standard Lenco lid cracks at the rear – been plastic welded (see close up pic) to prevent deterioration.
Anti-skating arm replaced at some stage. Not original but a good replacement. Works just as it should.
