Extremely charming large wall Schatz Elexacta Clock.

Quality underrated sophistication.
Real brass numbers on teak face. 23cm tall / 22cm wide.

Made in West Germany – Circa 1960

Original battery-operated mechanism swapped for modern quartz mechanism. Keeps perfect time.
Face clean with no damage, original branding decals intact.

August Schatz established 1881 Germany, later becoming known as Jahresuhrenfabrik AG which translates to “Year Clock Factory”.
Known for making time pieces that required minimal winding including a 400-day clock or ‘year clock’.
In the 1950s with battery powered mechanisms coming available – Schatz introduced its first 1000-day clock in 1954.
