Mirage – Founded in Toronto 1979. Early models designed by Kevin Voecks (Snell Acoustics).
After an early acquisition bid from Bose fell through, private funding secured a US dealership network. Products were met with acclaim & demand soon outstripped ability to scale up. The Mirage name & parent Co. (API) was sold to the Klipsch Group in 2006.
