Nice set – good sound. Cabinets are great condition – all original grilles etc.

Some repair was required – life had taken its toll on many of the original Wharfedale drivers.
Driver units replaced are both bass drivers & both high drivers, Similar spec Philips Holland replacements used.
Original midrange drivers & crossover networks retained – electrolytic capacitors replaced.
Attempts & tests on replacement speakers in situ saw no changes to the original L-Pad configuration. Nice matches – especially the Philips tweeter, this is much the same as the original dome used in the Glendales.
Results are a nice set – full of detail & warmth. Not a high-volume set, but impressive at good listening levels. Well worth a demo.
