Mirage – Founded in Toronto 1979. Early models designed by Kevin Voecks (Snell Acoustics).
After an early acquisition bid from Bose fell through, private funding secured a US dealership network. Products were met with acclaim & rave reviews. Demand soon outstripped ability to scale up. Canadian company API took over mid 80’s continuing to produce the Mirage label. API later joined the Klipsch Group in 2006.
