Great speakers – in even better condition.
Not a common Goodmans model, but from their prime era.
All original drivers – checked out all OK. Drivers re-torqued into cabinet with new screws. Quality original crossover electronics – checked out OK, electrolytic capacitors replaced.
Very nice sound – clear & detailed. Fantastic vocals. Not suitable for a drum & bass festival, but enjoyable for smaller space – easy listening.
Have been unable to determine the specs on these – however they are 8 ohm impedance & expect around 20watts RMS power rating. Ample for an office or apartment.
2-way / 3 speaker design. Two 5″ drivers deliver warm bass. Combined with a cone tweeter providing clear, detailed highs.
Dimensions: 46cm Tall / 30cm Wide / 23cm Deep. Extremely heavy.
Goodmans Industries – Founded in 1923. Achieved massive success in providing high quality HiFi loudspeakers to a world-wide market during the 1960 & 70s. At one stage it was boasted that Goodmans were the largest HiFi manufacturer in Europe.
