This 3020i is in great original condition – we tried to repair it – we really did, just couldn’t find where that was needed. Hard to believe as these amps do not enjoy a rep for being bullet proof, but this guy after being in our storage is faultless -must be a good’un. It’s also been largely re-capped by a previous owner – work has been checked over & it been done well using the correct grade components.

Often hailed as the best budget amp – the NAD 3020 is one of the best-selling audio components of all time.
The 3020i being the last variant produced in 1991 – i for ‘improved’. Pretty much the difference from the original 3020 was an improvement to reliability by the inclusion of a 4ohm or 8ohm impedance selection switch. Along with higher quality connectors on the back panel. Also some improvements made in the power supply.
Overall, a great 2 channel amp & the product that put NAD (New Audio Dimension) on the HiFi map.
PS – please excuse the oily finger marks on the front cover – they will of course not be present anymore.
